At St Joseph's we value learning outside the classroom as well as inside the classroom. Our school actively participates in a number of organised sporting events as well as providing our students with regular physical education lessons.

We know that we are made in the image and likeness of God and it is our duty to care for the gifts that he has given us, therefore we actively promote taking care of the health and the wellbeing of our physical self as well as our spiritual self.

We are very proud of our Turnball Cup Swimmers.

They showed good sportsmanship and respect while participating and humility in their achievements.

catholic sports day

Inglewood was the place to be for our Catholic Sports Day. All the Primary Catholic Schools from around Taranaki celebrated a day of skills, participation and friendship. It was a great success and the children had a great time.

Futsal competition

St Joseph's team were invited to take part in a Futsal Competition. There were teams from the North Island and from Australia. It was a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, meet new friends and enjoy playing an upcoming sport.
